PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant type lingua extension that enables a patient to perform self-adjustment of a degree of extension of a lingual back and/or a lingual radix after surgery to prevent occurrence of the obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) by reducing, in a non-sleeping time, extension force of the lingua extension device with respect to the lingual back and/or the lingual radix to allow the lingua to smoothly move, and before sleeping, pushing a control switch at an external part of a skin of a lower jaw to adjust the extension force of the lingua extension device with respect to the lingual back and/or the lingual radix to thereby adjust a distance to forwardly extend the lingual back and/or the lingual radix and keep a velum pharynx of a velum open.SOLUTION: The present invention provides the implant type lingua extension device, an extension plate, an extension string, an extension tool, and a method, the lingua extension device being to be implanted in a mandible and a tongue body of a human body in order for extending the lingua back and/or the lingua radix.
