An apparatus for detecting x-rays comprises: a detecting unit including a pixel array on which a plurality of pixels detecting X-rays passing through an object to be tested are arranged in a matrix a read-out unit reading out electrical signals corresponding to the detected X-rays from the pixel array and a reset control unit controlling the pixel array to be reset after the detection of the X-rays by switching the pixels of the pixel array to be commonly connected to a reset power source.
