PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary tiller capable of constantly forming a beautiful ridge regardless of the properties of soil.SOLUTION: The rotary tiller includes an oblong land-leveling plate 18 linked to the rear terminal part of a cover having flexibility and covering the upper side of a tilling tine by the upper side part, and a restricting member for restricting the movement of the horizontal center part to the rear side of the cover by contacting with the horizontal center part of the lower side part of the land-leveling plate 18. Notched parts 26 opened downward are formed in each part positioned at the right side or the left side of the horizontal center part of the lower side part 18b of the land-leveling plate 18.
