PURPOSE: A vegetation block is provided to prevent plants from being swept away in rain fall or heavy rain by comprising culture soil, vegetation mat and filling material containing seeds in the vegetation block. CONSTITUTION: A block body(20) has a space part(21). A vegetation mat is covered on culture soil in which compost is mixed. Filler is covered on the vegetation mat and the seed of plant is mixed. A plurality of recesses(22) are formed on the floor of the space part of the block main body. The vegetation mat is fixed to the floor of the space part with a fixing unit.
