The invention relates to a method and a device used for positioning and fixing the stereotactic neurosurgical frame in order to perform minimally invasive surgical interventions. The claimed device comprises a main subassembly (I) with the role of positioning the device on the skull and a secondary subassembly (II) by means of which there is fixed a circular frame (5) on which the surgical instruments are mounted, after adjusting the position of the frame (5) on the patients skull, the fixation takes place by means of some screws (3), and then the patient with the device is fixed on the table of the tomograph with an eccentric fastening mechanism. The claimed method consists in positioning the main subassembly (I) of the device on the patients skull, vertically adjusting the position of two extensions (10) for ears, and fixing the main subassembly (I) on the patients skull, adjusting the positioning height of the circular frame (5) on which the devices used in the surgery will be fixed, fixing the circular frame (5) to prevent the slide or the relative motion in relation to the main subassembly (I), fixing the circular frame (5) on the patients skull by means of four plastic screws and putting the patient down in horizontal position on the tomograph table and fixing the circular frame (5) on the frame support of the tomograph.Invenţia se referă la o metodă şi la un dispozitiv utilizat pentru poziţionarea şi fixarea cadrului neurochirurgical stereotaxic, în vederea unor intervenţii chirurgicale minim invazive.
