An optical coherence tomographic apparatus comprising: image obtaining means (100) for obtaining a plurality of images of an eye to be examined at different times; tomographic image obtaining means (200) for obtaining a plurality of tomographic images of the eye based on interfering light obtained by interference between return light from the eye irradiated with measurement light through scanning means and reference light corresponding to the measurement light; means (100) for performing tracking of the eye by the scanning means based on the plurality of images; and control means (300) for controlling an operation of the means which performs the tracking to correct a scan position in an interval between one scan and a next scan by the scanning means.
