Embodiments of the present invention include surgical instruments, surgical implants, and methods. Surgical instruments or surgical implants can be made from a mixture of polymer and filler material. In certain embodiments, the polymer is a medical grade polymer and the filler is a reinforcing material that increases the stiffness of the mixture when cured.
