A poultry feed, feed additive and method for improving feed conversion efficiency is applied to replace antibiotics as a growth promoter with Ganoderma lucidum with fruiting body and mycelium. A poultry diet is mixed with an effective amount of Ganoderma lucidum, and then the mixture of the poultry diet and the Ganoderma lucidum is fed to at least one poultry.
