The present application relates to a temporomandibular joint retractor and a boost device thereof and an operation method therefor； the boost device comprises a pull-down element, a locating element and an adjusting component； the pull-down element has a hook portion for hooking the mandible, and the adjusting component is connected to the locating element； the adjusting component is configured to drive the pull-down element to move relative to the locating element, so that the hook portion of the pull-down element pulls the mandible forward and downward to pull apart the gap between the temporomandibular joints, thereby facilitating a patient to open his/her mouth at a larger angle such that the temporomandibular joint tractor can conveniently open the patient's mouth at a large angle and improve the traction exercise effect of the temporomandibular joint.
