A frame worn on the face around the eyes when playing sports, that prevents objects such as small balls contacting and damaging the eyeball. The frame may have no lens that can become steamed up giving the wearer constant vision, and may have a mesh. The frame reduces the aperture of the eye socket to protect the eye yet maintain panoramic vision. The frame is attached to the head using an elastic strap round the head or ears, a pair of arms hooked around the ears, or may be glued directly to the face.
