The unit has a carrier (32) provided with three longitudinal edges, three longitudinal surfaces (12) and an inner chamber, where openings (20) are formed in the longitudinal surfaces. The carrier is designed such that spring-loaded fastening elements (21) are provided at both sides of the openings and project in a direction of the openings. The fastening elements are connectable with the carriers in a form-fit manner. An independent claim is also included for a system comprising an assembly module.
