The present invention is directed to a method of treating a disease or disorder characterised by one or more of the following: decreased lung function, bronchial hyper-responsiveness, hypersecretion of mucus, epithelial cell hyperplasia, smooth muscle hypertrophy, fibrosis or inflammation with an antagonist of a Hedgehog protein, an antagonist of Smoothened, or an antagonist of Gli. The present invention further provides kits for implementing the above method and the use of an antagonist of a Hedgehog protein, an antagonist of Smoothened, or an antagonist of Gli for treating the above disease or disorder.La présente invention concerne une méthode de traitement dune maladie ou dun trouble caractérisés par au moins lun des symptômes suivants : une fonction pulmonaire diminuée, une hypersensibilité des bronches, une hypersécrétion de mucus, une hyperplasie de cellules épithéliales, une hypertrophie des muscles lisses, une fibrose ou une inflammation avec un antagoniste dune protéine Hedgehog, un antagoniste de protéine Smoothened ou un antagoniste de protéine Gli. La présente invention concerne en outre des kits de mise en œuvre de la méthode mentionnée et lutilisation dun antagoniste de protéine Hedgehog, dun antagoniste de protéine Smoothened ou dun antagoniste de protéine Gli pour traiter la maladie ou le trouble décrit ci-dessus.
