PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adipose tissue inflammation suppressor and a fatty acid synthesis inhibitor which are excellent in adipose tissue inflammatory action and fatty acid synthesis inhibitory action, and a prophylactic agent for lifestyle-related diseases and a functional food containing the same.
SOLUTION: The adipose tissue inflammation suppressor comprises caffeine as an active ingredient. The fatty acid synthesis inhibitor comprises caffeine as an active ingredient. Caffeine is compounded in the form of at least one chosen from coffee beans, tea, cacao mass and extracts thereof.
