PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting machine which can form opening portions suitable for seed bulbs in a covering material and accurately plant the seed bulbs in a field from the opening portions.SOLUTION: The planting machine 1 has a travel portion 14, a planting portion 17 for planting the seed bulbs G, and a driving portion 13 for driving the travel portion 14 and the planting portion 17 through a power transmission mechanism 16, and used for planting the seed bulbs G. The planting portion 17 comprises a pair of right and left endless members 3 rotation-supported on rotation support portions disposed at tip positions of polygonal on the side view, respectively, a plurality of holding opening means 20 disposed between the right and left endless members 3, 3 to hold the seed bulbs G and form the opening portions in the covering material 10 covering the surface of a field, and a pushing out device 4 for pushing out the seed bulbs G held with the holding opening means 20 to the opening portions formed by holding opening means 20 to plant the seed bulbs G in the field.
