The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage SE1 which is specific to salmonella and has a killing function a pharmaceutical composition, an antibiotic composition, a feed additive composition, a feed, a disinfectant, or a washing agent which is for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by salmonella and includes the bacteriophage and a method for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by salmonella, wherein the method comprises a step of administrating the bacteriophage to an animal. According to the present invention, a method for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by salmonella by using bacteriophage SE1 has very high specificity to salmonella compared to a conventional chemical material such as antibiotics or the like, and the bacteriophage SE1 is infected to salmonella to proliferate 100 times or more in the salmonella, thereby having excellent bacteriolytic activity and being strong to physiochemical stimulation.
