A computer, a high resolution monitor and a patient interface is utilized toimplement a visual contrast sensitivity function measurement test. Morespecifically, acomputerized video system is configured to implement a tilted-grating forcedchoicecontrast sensitivity function test. The invention utilizes known measurementmethodsfor the visual contrast sensitivity function and automates their use bycomputerizing thesystem and couples it with a patient-interactive user interface in order toproduce anaccurate quantitative result.
