The information processing apparatus (100) calculates a second index value indicating a matching degree between partial waveforms of the pulse wave waveforms at least at any part of the subject among the acquired pulse wave waveforms of each of the parts of the subject. The information processing apparatus (100) determines whether or not the pulse wave waveforms at any part of the subject indicate an arrhythmia based on the calculated first index value and the calculated second index value.
