Described is an absorbent matrix used in a disposable absorbent item, which has an upper portion facing the body and a lower portion facing the garment surface, comprising a polymeric network (1) formed by a plurality of longitudinal threads (2) and a plurality of transversal threads (3) that form free hollows (5) therebetween, which are covered by particles of a super absorbent material (6) that form zones of absorption and liquid retention, the longitudinal threads (2) being higher in diameter than the transversal threads (3), thus forming longitudinal channels for distributing the fluid (4) by the lower portion of the matrix, under the transversal threads (3).Una matriz absorbente para ser utilizada en un artículo absorbente desechable con una parte superior de cara al cuerpo y una parte inferior de cara a la prenda, tal que comprende una red polimérica (1) conformada por una pluralidad de hilos longitudinales (2) y una pluralidad de hilos transversales (3) que forman entre ellos, huecos libres (5) que son cubiertos por partículas de material superabsorbente (6) formando zonas de absorción y retención de fluidos, tal que los hilos longitudinales (2) son de un diámetro mayor que los hilos transversales (3), formando canales longitudinales de distribución de fluido (4) por la parte inferior de la matriz, por debajo de los hilos transversales (3).
