The ophthalmic lens may include a verificationmechanism,wherein a pairing with a specified smartphone may limit wireless communicationtocommunication between the two specified devices. The receipt of smartphoneevent datamay activate an indicator in the ophthalmic lens. The ophthalmic lens mayallow for userresponse to the notification of the smartphone event. The response may triggeran internalaction within the ophthalmic lens, or the ophthalmic lens may transmitresponse data to thesmartphone, triggering an action in the smartphone.
