PURPOSE: A method for extracting Psidium guajava is provided to identify the optimized condition for extracting Psidium guajava for enhancing anti-inflammation activity and to obtain a Psidium guajava extract which improves anti-inflammation activity.CONSTITUTION: A method for extracting Psidium guajava for enhancing anti-inflammation activity comprises the step of extracting Psidium guajava in 42-68 volume% of an ethanol solution at 38-56°C for 3-6 hours. Psidium guajava leaves are dried and pulverized for extraction. The ethanol concentration of the ethanol solution is 53-57%.
