PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous cleansing cosmetic which has excellent removing effect of fats and oils staining such as a makeup, does not smart eyes during use, gives no feeling of bitterness and has no stretched feeling after use.SOLUTION: There is provided an aqueous cleansing cosmetic which comprises (A) 0.5-10 mass% of a tetra-fatty acid polyoxyethylene sorbitol, (B) 1-10 mass% of a polyoxyethylene fatty acid glyceryl and (C) 75-90 mass% of water, wherein the total of each content of (A), (B) and (C) is 85 mass% or more. The aqueous cleansing cosmetic may further comprise (D) 1-10 mass% of an alkylene oxide derivative represented by formula (1).
