Swimming goggle cushion pad 1 that comprises: a connection frame (2, Fig 2) defined with an inner peripheral face and an outer peripheral face, a circumferential fitting groove (22, Fig 2) mounted between the inner and outer peripheral faces to receive a swimming goggle frame 60, 61; a face contact portion (3, Fig 2) extending along the inner peripheral face; and a buffer unit 4 disposed between the inner peripheral face of the connection frame and the face contact portion (3). The buffer unit 4 includes a plurality of support ribs 401 and a plurality of openings 403 between the support ribs. In one embodiment there are compartments 40 surrounded by two support ribs 401 and a plurality of peripherals 402 to form apertures 403. The compartments 40 may be in a honeycomb arrangement. The buffer unit provides the face contact portion (3) with support against a deformation stress produced between the cushion pad and the wearers face when worn, to ensure a comfortable fit.
