PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus and a medical image diagnostic apparatus capable of supporting a user in easily grasping a display area for displaying an operation result image.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes an operation receiving part, an image acquisition part, a display area selection part, and a grasping support part. The operation receiving part receives an instruction operation of a user through an input part. The image acquisition part acquires an image according to the operation. The display area selection part selects a selection display area which is a display area for displaying the image according to the operation acquired by the image acquisition part of a plurality of display areas that a display part possesses.
