FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dentistry, namely to a method for its application for cleaning hard tissues of the tooth cavity from residues of temporary dental materials from light curing composite material, zinc sulphate, zinc phosphate, polycarboxylate or glass-ionomer cements. Proposed method is characterized by that it involves removal of a temporary filling with subsequent treatment of the tooth cavity with a composition containing monoatomic alcohol and monohydric alcohol ester with a boiling point within 70–145 °C, perfume selected from evaporated liquids, an antiseptic additive dissolving in a residue-free composition and providing a prolonged antimicrobial and antibacterial effect at the border of solid tissues – a restoration material, with the following content of components, wt%: monoatomic alcohol 20.0–40.0; antimicrobial additive 0.01–2.0; odoriferous agent 1.0–10.0; ethers of monohydric alcohol up to 100.0. Monohydric alcohol used is ethyl, n-propyl or isopropyl alcohol, ether – ethyl acetate, n-propyl or isopropyl alcohol; antimicrobial additive is chlorhexidine or derivatives thereof, such as chlorhexidine hydrochloride, chlorhexidine gluconate or chlorhexidine acetate; as an odorant – amyl acetate or isoamyl acetate.
