An apparatus and method are provided for cold plasma skin regeneration. In one aspect, a mask is provided for use in fractionated skin regeneration. The mask includes a plurality of openings distributed across the surface of the mask. The mask can be made of a flexible material that includes an adhesive surface so that the mask can be applied to the contoured surface of the patient's skin while being held in place. The material is not affected by the cold plasma beam.
