The vacuum cannula (132) and electrode (135) are configured for independent, selective positioning along a longitudinal axis of the housing (115). An aspiration tube (120) may be coupled to the vacuum cannula (132). The vacuum cannula (132) and/or aspiration tube (120) include one or more pre-aspiration ports (222) and/or an elastomeric or rigid aspiration tip (310) at a distal end thereof. A second independently-positionable vacuum cannula (132) and/or aspiration tube (120) may be disposed within the first vacuum cannula (132) and/or aspiration tube (120). Once positioned, the vacuum cannula (132) and electrode (135) may be fixed in position to prevent undesired movement during use.
