PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly type block suitable for development of a space recognition ability of a sight disabled person.SOLUTION: An assembly type block comprises: plural units 1 which can be jointed at joint surfaces； a shape recognition unit 30 which has the same shape as the units, and comprises flat plate-state unit recognition marks 31 on surfaces (32, 33, 36, 37) corresponding to the joint surfaces (2, 3, 6, 7) for making a user recognize a plan view of the unit by a sense of touch； and a three-dimensional music 200 consisting of polyhedrons and comprises a flat plate-state complete body recognition mark 202 for making a user recognize a plan view of a complete body 100 by the sense of touch. When a specific joint surface of the unit is an xy surface, the unit recognition marks are formed into the same shape as a plan view projection shape of each surface of xy, yz, zx surfaces, and an area indicating the joint surface is formed to be thick. The complete body recognition mark is formed into the same shape as a plan view projection shape on each surface of xy, yz, zx surfaces of the specific unit included in the complete body, and an area indicating a surface in a foremost part is formed to be thick.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
