PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter capable of performing bush cutting work continuously for a long period by a worker by preventing lateral vibration of a rotary blade and a head member to facilitate moving operation for bush cutting work and preventing accumulation of the cut material caused by entangling the cut material.SOLUTION: A rotary blade protecting member of the bush cutter is composed of a locking member locked to a rotary shaft through a bearing, and a plurality of sleigh members having sleigh shape extending in the longitudinal direction of an operation member and attached to the locking member at the bottom side of the rotary blade. One of the sleigh members is connected to the operation member through a connection member. The connection member is placed at a side of the operation member in a state separated from the rotary blade, connected to an end of the sleigh shape part of the sleigh member at the side of the operation member along the sleigh shape, extended to the operation member side and connected to the operation member at a position separated from the head member with a prescribed distance.【課題】本発明の目的は、回転刃及びヘッド部材の横振れを防止して刈払のための移動操作を容易にして、刈払物の巻き込みによる滞積を防止することで、利用者が長時間継続して刈払作業を行うことのできる刈払機を提供する。【解決手段】回転刃保護部材が、回転軸に軸受を介して係止された係止部材、回転刃の底部側で、操作部材の長手方向に延びるそり部形状とされ、係止部材に装置された複数のそり部材から構成され、1つのそり部材を前記操作部材に接続する接続部材が、操作部材の側方に回転刃から離間して配設されて、そり部材のそり部形状の操作部材側の一端にそり部形状に沿った形状でもって接続され、操作部材側に延び、ヘッド部材から所定の距離を置いた位置で操作部材に連結されること。【選択図】図1
