PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such that in a riding type rice transplanter having a constitution of lifting up or down a seedling-transplanting part to a prescribed vertical position where the supplement of seedlings can be easily performed based on the operation of a switch (an operating means), it is necessary to perform the operations of the switch (the operating means) particularly on supplying the seedlings to a seedling stand of the seedling-transplanting part, there is a fear of decreasing workability, and also during the travel for transplanting work, by operating the switch (the operating means) by mistake, since the seedling-transplanting part is lifted up or down to the prescribed vertical position, the seedling-transplanting can not be performed and there is a fear of forming an un-transplanted zone in a field.SOLUTION: This seedling transplanter is provided with a travel-stopping means for stopping operation of the travel of a traveling vehicle and a pedal-holding arm sensor (96) for detecting that the travel-stopping operation is performed by the travel-stopping means, and also a regulating means for lifting up or down the seedling-transplanting part to the prescribed vertical position by actuating a lifting up and down mechanism based on the detection of the stopping operation by the pedal-holding arm sensor (96).COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】 スイッチ(操作手段)の操作に基づいて苗植付部を苗補給がし易い所定の上下位置まで上昇又は下降させる構成の乗用型田植機においては、苗植付部の苗載台へ苗補給をするときにスイッチ(操作手段)の操作を格別に行わなければならず、作業性を低下させるおそれがある。また、植付作業走行中に、誤って前記スイッチ(操作手段)を操作すると、苗植付部が所定の上下位置まで上昇又は下降してしまって、苗植付が行えずに圃場に未植付区域が生じるおそれがある。【解決手段】 走行車輌の走行を停止させる操作をするための走行停止手段と、該走行停止手段により走行停止操作が行われたことを検出するペダル保持アームセンサ(96)とを設け、該ペダル保持アームセンサ(96)による走行停止操作の検出に基づいて昇降機構を作動させて苗植付部を所定の上下位置まで上昇又は下降させる制御装置を設けた。【選択図】 図6
