Compositions for producing antimicrobial activity are described. These compositions comprise a first phase； a second phase； an enzyme capable of converting a substrate to release hydrogen peroxide； and a substance comprising a substrate for the enzyme, the first phase and the second phase It is immiscible with the phase.
