PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type paper diaper capable of easily adjusting a waist size.
SOLUTION: The underpants type paper diaper includes: an absorptive main body 5 having an absorptive body 3 absorptive main body attachment sheets 4 to which the absorptive main body 5 is attached and which form leg peripheral parts 82 to contact the leg periphery of a wearing person and a waistline part 81 to contact the waistline together with the absorptive main body 5 and fixing tapes 6 where one end parts 6B are fixed onto the outer surface of the waistline part 81 and the other end parts 6A are fixable. The fixing positions of the other end parts 6A are changed, so as to adjust the size of the waistline part 81. The fixable range of the other end parts 6A are arranged on the ventral side of the outer surface in the waistline part 81.
