PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for external application blended with glycyrrhetinic acid and a derivative thereof, to enhance remarkably an anti-inflammatory effect.SOLUTION: The composition for the external application is blended with one kind or more selected from the group comprising mono-fatty acid polyethylene glycols and tri-fatty acid polyoxyethylene sorbitanes having an 18C fatty acid in its molecule, and the glycyrrhetinic acid and the derivative thereof.
