The invention relates to a single tooth implant for a fixed dental prosthesis, said implant comprising a substantially cylindrical main part which can be inserted into a bore in a jaw bone； an abutment which can be inserted into the annular seat in the main part, said abutment having a bore for receiving a retaining screw and a securing head for the dental prosthesis； and a retaining screw which can be inserted into the blind hole of the main part and traverses the abutment.
