PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for preventing and/or ameliorating obesity by using sudachitin of an active ingredient of Citrus Sudachi.SOLUTION: It has been discovered that sudachitin of an active ingredient contained in Citrus Sudachi has effects for ameliorating energy metabolism by the skeletal muscle and effects for ameliorating lipid metabolism by the liver.
