Topical formulations containing soft glycopyrrolate are useful for the treatment of excessive sweat conditions in subjects such as humans suffering from hyperhidrosis. Preferably, at least one soft anticholinergic agent is provided as an anhydrous formulation in an effective amount or concentration that can inhibit excessive sweating effects resulting from conditions such as hyperhidrosis.
