The invention provides a method of manufacturing a patch preparation comprising (a) pouring a composition for forming an adhesive layer into a container having a concave part with a shape corresponding to a patch preparation to be manufactured, wherein the composition contains a drug, an adhesive polymer, and an organic solvent (b) removing the organic solvent from the composition through drying to form a drug-containing adhesive layer in the concave part and (c) laminating a support on the drug-containing adhesive layer to provide the patch preparation comprising a support and the drug-containing adhesive layer formed on one surface of the support.
