Methods and compositions for cancer immunotherapy are provided. The method involves the use of a chimeric molecule (eg, a fusion protein) that comprises a dimeric NKG2D moiety and an Fc moiety and binds to one or more NKG2D ligands. In some embodiments, the molecule further comprises a drug moiety (eg, an IL15 / Ra moiety).
