The present invention provides a disposable pants-type wearing article using belt-like leg elastic members. Respective opposite side edges 7a； 8a of front and rear waist regions 7, 8 of a disposable pants-type wearing article 1 are fusion-bonded together to define put-flat-and-joined-together regions 50. Belt-like leg elastic members 14 F , 14 R respectively have front side upper ends 74 lying in the front waist region 7 and included in the put-flat-and-joined-together regions 50 and rear side upper ends 84 lying in the rear waist region 8 and included in the put-flat-and-joined-together regions. In the put-flat-and-joined-together regions 50, lower edges 73 of the upper ends 74 and lower edges 83 of the rear side upper ends 84 are displaced one from another in such a manner that the one pair of the lower edges 73 lie below the other pair of the lower edges 83. The one pair of the lower edges 73 are fusion-bonded to at least one of a sheet-like member 281 and a sheet-like member 282 covering the other pair of the lower edges 83 at a level lower than the other pair of the lower edges 283.
