PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate to the design of gene transfer vectors and to their medicinal application, and especially provide lentiviral gene transfer vectors suitable for either unique administration or iterative administration in a host.SOLUTION: One aspect of the invention is that the gene transfer vectors are either integrative or non-integrative (NI) vectors, depending on the purpose of their use. The invention relates to the use of gene transfer vectors for unique or for multiple in vivo administration into a host in need thereof. The field of application of the present application concerns in particular animal treatment or treatment of human being in vivo (e.g. prophylactic, therapeutic, symptomatic or curative treatment), as well as gene therapy and vaccination. An application of these vectors is to elicit an immune response to prevent or treat a pathogenic state, including virus infections (e.g. treatment or prevention against immunodeficiency virus, especially against AIDS), parasite and bacterial infections or cancers, and preferably to elicit a protective, long-lasting immune response.【課題】遺伝子導入ベクターのデザイン、そして、それらの医薬品への適用に関し、特に、宿主における単回投与又は反復投与のいずれかに適したレンチウイルス遺伝子導入ベクターを提供する。【解決手段】それらの使用目的に依存して、組込み又は非組込み（ＮＩ）ベクターのいずれかである遺伝子導入ベクター、それらを必要とする宿主中への単回又は複数回のインビボ投与のための遺伝子導入ベクターの使用。該ベクターとその使用の適用の分野は、特に、インビボでの動物の処置もしくはヒトの処置（例えば、予防的又は治療的又は対症的又は根治的処置）、遺伝子治療又はワクチン接種に関する。これらのベクターを使用して、ウイルス感染（例えば、免疫不全ウイルスに対する、特にＡＩＤＳに対する処置又は予防）、寄生虫及び細菌感染又は癌を含む、発症状態の予防又は処置のための免疫応答を誘発しうる、好ましくは防御的な持続性免疫応答を誘発しうる。【選択図】なし
