A novel strain of Bacillus thuringiensis for controlling insect pests is provided, wherein the strain comprises gene fragments of cry1Ab, cry1Ac, cry1D, cry1E. Furthermore, a method for applying the strain to insect pest inhibition and a composition comprising of the contents of the strain and an acceptable carrier thereof are further provided.本發明提供一種拮抗害蟲之新穎蘇力菌菌株,係應用於生物性控制蟲害之技術領域,利用一PCR篩選方式鑑定出含cry1Ab、cry1Ac、cry1D、cry1E基因之該菌株(strain),該菌株可製成一種用於控制害蟲之組合物,該組合物係為一可接受之載體及一殺蟲有效劑量之δ-內毒素,對受害蟲侵襲之區域或預防害蟲寄生之區域施加一有效劑量之該組合物,可有效防治害蟲之生長。
