PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in body fluid absorption property, and in which leakage of a body fluid due to adhesion of a skin care agent hardly occurs.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 of the invention comprises an absorbent body 10 comprising an absorber 4 and a surface sheet 2. The absorbent body 10 comprises on both side parts 10s, a pair of leakage prevention cuffs 5 having a stretched elastic member 11. The leakage prevention cuff 5 erects in a crotch area 1M in a worn state. The absorbent body 10 has a skin care agent arrangement area 8T on which a hydrophilic skin care agent is arranged in an area sandwiched by the pair of leakage prevention cuffs 5 in a lodged state, in a state in which the leakage prevention cuffs are stretched against to shrinkage force of the elastic members 11, and the pair of leakage prevention cuffs 5 are lodged inward of a lateral direction Y and on a skin facing surface of a surface sheet 2.
