PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which fine adjustment of an aperture of a hemostatic valve is facilitated without the risk of accidental opening of the hemostatic valve.SOLUTION: A connector includes: a hemostatic valve 21 a hemostatic valve pressure member 25 and an elastic body (a coil spring 22) for energizing the hemostatic valve pressure member 25. The hemostatic valve pressure member 25 is movable to a first position where the member is separated backward from the hemostatic valve 21 by a prescribed distance, a second position where the member is abutted on the hemostatic valve 21 but keeps the hemostatic valve 21 closed without opening the valve, and a third position where the member pressurizes the hemostatic valve 21 forward and releases the valve. A return from the second position to the first position of the hemostatic valve pressure member 25 is blocked by a stopper (a projection 28) arranged between the two positions.
