The piercing device (1) has a piercing unit and an actuating device that are accommodated in a housing. The actuating unit produces actuating force for oscillating an actuating component (12) that is coupled to the piercing unit. The actuating unit has a counter component (13) that is oscillated within the housing to a direction that is opposite the oscillation direction of the actuating component in order to partially compensate for vibrations caused by oscillating movement of the actuating component.
