The static magnetic field generator generates a static magnetic field. The gradient magnetic field generator generates a gradient magnetic field. The transmission coil applies an RF pulse to an object. The processing circuitry determines high frequency pulse power absorbed by other than the object in accordance with a volume of the object and computes a specific absorption rate (SAR) with the determined high frequency pulse power.
