The invention relates to a dental implant (1) comprising: - a lower part (2), termed implant body, intended to be rigidly connected in a bone tissue of a mandible or of a maxilla - and an upper part (3), termed post, intended to receive a dental prosthesis. Said upper part (2) comprises, on the surround thereof, at least one groove (4) able to engage with a device for rotating said dental implant (1), said groove (4) extending along the axial direction (X) of said dental implant (1). The dental implant according to the invention has a particularly advantageous application in the field of implant surgery.Linvention concerne un implant dentaire (1) comportant : - une partie inférieure (2), dite corps dimplant, destine à être solidarise dans un tissu osseux dune mandibule ou dun maxillaire - une partie supérieure (3), dite pilier, destine recevoir une prothèse dentaire. Ladite partie supérieure (2) comporte, sur son pourtour, au moins une entaille (4) apte coopérer avec un dispositif dentraînement en rotation dudit implant dentaire (1), ladite entaille (4) sétendant selon la direction axiale (X) dudit implant dentaire (1). Limplant dentaire selon linvention trouve une application particulièrement intéressante dans le domaine de la chirurgie implantaire.
