Preparing a liquid dietary supplement comprising phytin comprises: (i) combining a phytin, at least one alpha-hydroxy carboxylic acid and an aqueous solvent to obtain an aqueous solution comprising phytin in a solubilized state, preferably at a content of 70-270 g/l, and having a pH of 3-5. Independent claims are included for: (1) the liquid dietary supplement comprising phytin, in which: (i) is an aqueous solution having a pH of 3-7.5, preferably 3-5, (ii) comprises phytin (70-270 g/l) in a dissolved form in the presence of at least one alphahydroxyl carboxylic acid, and (iii) optionally, at least one additional compound consisting of minerals, vitamins and their precursors, amino acids and their derivatives, oligopeptides, plant extracts, fatty acids, hormones, flavonoids, and/or myo-inositol； and (2) aqueous solution of phytin comprising at least one alpha-hydroxy carboxylic acid, and phytin in the dissolved form (70-270 g/l), where the aqueous solution of phytin has a pH of 3-5.
