This invention relates to locking assemblies for doors/gates. In one form, the locking assembly includes: a pivot arm, with a cam roller and a means for engaging the door/gate and a cam plate having a track with two paths configured to receive the cam roller of the pivot arm, a cam plate including a cam, whereby movement of the pivot arm causes the cam roller to move within the track, the cam roller within the track being restricted by a force applied to the cam. In another form the invention relates to a door assembly and locking assembly including first and second handles, a shaft mountable to the frame and a pivot assembly connecting the shaft to the door, whereby rotation of the second handle will turn the shaft and the shaft will in turn move the pivot assembly to achieve a locked or unlocked position and move the door to opened and closed positions.La présente invention concerne des ensembles de verrouillage pour des portes/grilles. Dans une forme, lensemble de verrouillage comprend : un bras de pivot, ayant une came de verrouillage et un moyen pour venir en prise avec la porte/grille et un disque à cames ayant un rail comportant deux chemins configurés pour recevoir la came de verrouillage du bras de pivot, un disque à cames comprenant une came, ce par quoi le déplacement du bras de pivot amène la came de verrouillage à se déplacer dans le rail, la came de verrouillage dans le rail étant limitée par une force appliquée à la came. Dans une autre forme, linvention concerne un ensemble porte et un ensemble de verrouillage comprenant des première et seconde poignées, un arbre pouvant être monté sur le cadre et un ensemble pivot reliant larbre à la porte, ce par quoi la rotation de la seconde poignée fera tourner larbre et larbre, à son tour, déplacera lensemble pivot pour parvenir à une position verrouillée ou déverrouillée et déplacera la porte vers des positions ouverte et fermée.
