PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for hair dyeing which is excellent in emulsification stability and mixability of the first agent and the second agent of the hair dyeing composition and maintains a good mixed viscosity even at a high temperature. SOLUTION: The hair dyeing composition is used by mixing the first agent and the second agent of the hair dyeing composition at the time of use, and (A) toluene-2,5-diamine, (B) cetyl alcohol. And one or more selected from stearyl alcohol, one or more selected from (C) polyoxyethylene alkyl ether type nonionic surfactant, (D) behenyltrimethylammonium chloride, (E) monoethanolamine. The average HLB value of the component (C) is 14 to 17 for both the first agent and the second agent of the hair dyeing composition, and the average HLB value of the component (C) is different from that of the component (C) in the hair dyeing composition.
