PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an extraction precision since an area is not determined as an organ area in spite of the inside of the organ, or an area is determined as an organ area in spite of the outside of the organ because of various pixel density (pixel values) in the organ area under an expansion extracting method where an area shown in a circle is specified as an organ to be extracted when a pixel attribute value in the circle satisfies a determination value by comparing them after setting the sense area such as the circle, in the expansion extracting method for extracting a specific organ by setting an extraction area in the outward direction from the center in methods of extracting a specific organ in cross-sectional images.SOLUTION: The attribute value is not obtained only from the pixel density in the circle as the sense figure, but a difference attribute value between the attribute value from the pixel value in a previously extracted area in the neighborhood and the attribute value from the pixel value in an unextracted area included in the circle is the target for the determination. Consequently, the continuity of precision of extraction is maintained since the pixel value in the previously extracted area in the neighborhood is used if the pixel density is varied.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】断層画像の中の特定の臓器抽出法には、抽出領域を順々に中心から外方向に向かって行う拡張抽出法がある。この拡張抽出法は、円図形などのセンス領域を設定し、その円図形内の画素属性値と判定値との比較により判定値を満足していれば、その円図形の示す領域を抽出対象の臓器として特定するやり方をとる。然るに、臓器領域内では種々の画素濃度(画素値)があり、臓器内にもかかわらず臓器領域でないと判定したり、臓器外にもかかわらず臓器領域であると判定したりすることがある。抽出精度の向上が望まれている。【解決手段】本発明は、センス図形としての円図形内の画素濃度からのみ属性値を求めるのではなく、近くの既抽出領域の画素値からの属性値と円図形に含まれる未抽出領域の画素値からの属性値との、差分属性値を判定対象とする。かくして、画素濃度のばらつきがあっても、近くの既抽出領域の画素値を利用している故に、抽出の精度の連続性が保たれる。【選択図】図1
