PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral contrast medium for use in preparation of a liquid drug for oral administration by which subjects loads can be reduced without the sacrifice of test accuracy, and without prolongation of the time required for a pretreatment, by reducing a dose of the intestinal cleaning liquid in an intestinal pretreatment.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an oral contrast medium for use in a digestive tract contrast imaging of CT colonography, the medium comprising an iodine compound as an active ingredient, and being taken in once or separately two or more times on the day before the CT colonography as a liquid drug in which the iodine compound is dissolved into a solution in which a water-soluble polymer or a saline cathartic is dissolved into water so that the content of the iodine compound is 3.5-90 mg/mL, wherein the total dose of the liquid drug is 300-1200 mL.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、検査精度を犠牲にせず、また前処置に要する時間を長期化することなく、腸管前処置における腸管洗浄液の服用量を低減し、被験者の負担を少なくすることができる経口投与用液剤の調製に用いられる経口造影剤を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、CTコロノグラフィの消化管造影に用いられる経口造影剤であって、ヨード化合物を有効成分とし、水溶性高分子又は塩類下剤を水に溶解させた水溶液に前記ヨード化合物の含有量が3.5~90mg/mLとなるように溶解させた液剤として、CTコロノグラフィの前日に1回で又は複数回に分けて服用され、前記液剤の総服用量が300~1200mLである、経口造影剤を提供する。【選択図】なし
